Coconut Oil Makeup Remover

Coconut oil is one of those products that can give you a lot of bang for your buck.  It can serve as a multipurpose product in your home.

I personally use coconut oil as a natural makeup remover.  I used to spend money on those wipes that you buy to remove your makeup.  I'd cut them in half to be less wasteful but it is still expensive and wasteful.  I read somewhere that you can use a little bit of coconut oil to remove makeup so I decided to give it a try and sure enough, it works great.  I keep a jar of it in my bathroom and I just put a little bit on my fingers, rub it together to warm it up, and then rub it on my eyes and then the rest of my face.  I use my charcoal bar soap to follow and then a touch of lotion.

You can also use coconut oil as a moisturizer, as hair oil, in place of shaving cream, or mix it with sugar to make an exfoliating scrub.

I like Dr. Bonner's in the glass jar.
