This week's weigh in is big! The handsome husband is rolling out not one, but two cans to the curb. Why? Because he hates them. He hates these cans!
Regular readers will recall that we discontinued the yard waste can and downsized the "regular" 96 gallon can to the smallest option, the 32 gallon can. Since Republic Services can't remember to pick up the cans, they asked me to put a note on them, so that the driver will remember. I did put notes on the cans, and I did so in style. My notes both include a still from the movie The Jerk (1979, Steve Martin) where the shooter is taking shots at Navin and Navin thinks it's the cans that the shooter is aiming at. Navin exclaims "It's these cans! He hates these cans!" A pinnacle moment in cinematic history indeed. The first note says "He hates these cans! Please remember to both cans for pickup." The second note reads "He hates this can too!"
