Minnesota is proud to be opening the very first Garbage Museum. The Garbage Museum resides on the entire fifth floor of the newly remodeled Mall of America. Speaking on behalf of the Garbage Museum is Abe Finklehoff, the curator of this fascinating new venture.
"The Garbage Museum is a new age homage to all of the forgotten treasures of yesteryear. Humans are forgetful creatures and delight in the idea of nostalgia. People like reminders of how things used to be and how far innovation has progressed. They enjoy being able to look back and laugh at fads that have long since passed."
"The Garbage Museum is fun for the whole family. Adults can take a trip back in time and remember how things used to be and children can stare in amazement at how hard life must have been for poor old Mom and Dad."
"The Garbage Museum is broken down into sections to make things easier to navigate. When planning your trip, you can do it all at once or you can get a multipass and do a couple of sections each day. When you're not touring the Garbage Museum, feel free to shop the Mall of America and pick up a few things that are sure to be featured in the Garbage Museum in a few years," says Finklehoff.
