I friggin love fast food. I try to eat healthy most of the time but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to get my grease on. I love Chipotle, Culver’s, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Arby’s, Subway, Leeann Chin, Panera, you get the idea. What I hate about fast food is the amount of waste. The containers, the lids, the straws, oh my! I talked about reusable straws in Plastic Straws Suck More Than A Two Dollar Hooker and now I want to talk about reusable utensils. I ordered a three-piece cutlery set plus a travel case by May U Like via Amazon. Amazon has a ton of options and I ordered a plain set with a black case for my husband. We each added a Kleen Kanteen reusable straw to our cases for all of our slurping needs. You have your utensils, your straw, and you can pack your own reusable container for leftovers. Now you can eat your fast food and know that you’re cooler than everyone else there. You’re welcome.
This blog is my family's journey to living with less. We are exploring a zero waste life and blogging about it along the way. What the Waste?! is a comedic and informative source for how to start being environmentally responsible, informed about the dangers of plastic, and how to make better choices. Follow along with my family to see where to begin and what works. My promise to you is that I'll tell you what you need to know and keep it real along the way. You might just find that less is more!
